NOVAR Officals concerned about lap 80 incident
NOVAR Officals were concerned about the lap 80 incident when Shane Hardon intetionally drove the 98 into the apron after contact with the 98.It was a main concern that Eddie Johns may have told Hardon to intetionally take out the #98 as Clarke tried to pass him. "I would really dobut that Johns would never do this" - Brad Schrallet, Owner of Mobil 1 Racing. If Hardon is pleaded gulty of wreckless drivng under command by Johns, Hardon could face up to a $250,000 fine and be suspened for Blue Ridge, a track which Hardon got a 4th place finish in the 2010 running. If Johns got pleaded to have the 57 take out the 98, Johns third victory could be revolked, possibly giving Shane Howard his second win of the year as a result."We are now currently under investigation, we going to look in all radio activity from lap 78 through 81." - Brian Sweeney, Chairman of NOVAR."As I was trying to get into Turn 1, I backed off after my roughing up on the 57, but the 57 would not let me get the line he wanted." - Shane Clarke III, Driver of #98. Hardon was warned of a simular situation at California when with about 48 laps to go, Hardon spun SCIII into Jke Jaze Jr. on the backstrech, however no intentions of wreckless drivng under command were put into play.
Keerlin and Chin duke it out in the garage
Jake Keerlin was extremely frustrated with Logan Chin's driving 52 laps into the race when Logan Chin had drove into Keerlin going into turn 3 causing both 72 and 76 to spin. While in the garage Keerlin had approached Logan and started to throw punches on Chin. Keerlin then walked away from the garage to the NOVAR hauler.More details are to come.
Walter Green to exchange words with Defending Champ.
Just 13 laps remaining in the race, Walter Green got turned by Bryan Kittleson heading into turn 1.After the race, Green got words with Kittleson, however Walter did not throw any punches.
