This Q-race maybe will be the most interesting one of the year. Jamie Scotti after taking the lead, gets punted out of the lead by Cody Wyke, which then the lead was taken by Kasey Lautenger, who then wins this q-race.
It is also most noted that Rondal Portland,Tim Averell, Connor Stanton, and Jason Kylaso will make their first starts of the year, and also the first starts for Cody Wyke, MJ Hallaway, Jarrod Landsoll in a while. Cars #42 and 30 fails post race inspecton for chicago
The #42 of Shane Bliss and #30 of Branndon Green have failed post race inspection due to both cars being to low. "It was setup to what the regulations say, I don't know how in the world this happened." - Shane Bliss. "The car when it was high or in regulated territory, it was too loose, I never knew it was this low." - Branndon Green. The ride height was mandated to be low as 3 1/2 of a inch. Car #42 was deemed 3 1/4 of a inch. Car #30 was 3 1/8 of a inch. Penalties are expected as Greg Verlono (Crew Chief of #42), and Allan Porter (Crew Chief of #30) are suspended for this weekend.
