- Arouna Racing will make major changes following this season, First, the team is planning to cut the 74, and 95 teams. Carson Brooks is likely not going to resign to the team, and get Evan Brooks to move to the 75. Red Robin will move over to the 10 team.
- Ebay is likely not to return to the 66 following the season, ending a 8 year partnership. Energizer is likely the new sponsor of the 66.
-Steven Volk has announced he will leave Pieper Inc to replace Thomas Lawyers in the #16. No word on who will replace Volk at Pieper Inc., although Carson Brooks is a leading candidate for the 29.
- Miller Lite is rumored to become the full time sponsor for the 22 of Cody Wyke, as Verizon will leave to focus on the sponsorship for the series. | |

-Jarrod Landsoll has brought his operations to Howell-Wilson Racing, bringing the team to a four car operation.
-Havoline will return to Billy Garber Motorsports to sponsor Jason Kylaso, Carter Pavis will now have sponsorship from Lay's as Lucas Oil will leave the team.
-National Guard will leave the #26 team, Southwest Airlines is rumored to replace the sponsorship on the 26.
-Waffle House, which sponsored the 7 on a part time basis, is reportedly asking to sponsor the #7 full time.
-Shane Truex has been confirmed that he will not return to Tyson Bell Racing following the 2015 season, Nick Dunnigan is a likely candidate to replace Truex

| Rumors as of 08/15/15
-The schedule will be 20 races for 2016.
-Nick Dunnigan is confirmed to replace Truex in the 73.
-Southwest Airlines will become the sponsor of the 26 for 2016, replacing National Guard, the paint scheme will basically be what the 34 is running at Columbia.
-Pringles will sponsor the 13 for the full 2016 season for Jarrod Landsoll
-W. Green Racing will expand to 2 cars for 2016, bringing up Gatorade Series driver Alex Navarro to run for rookie of the year driving the #40 Bojangles Chevy. Navarro is also the likely favorite to win rookie of the year honors for 2016.
-Ethan Zarin has vaulted back to the Gatorade Series, leaving the 06 as the only car.
-Kyle Ikeson has also returned to the Gatorade Series, the team however, will stay in the cup series.
-Rueson Autosports will run in the Cup Series next year with Kagen Rueson, piloting the #74 Office Depot Dodge
-Mancil Autosports. and GrassieAutoSports have closed their shops for 2016, Shane Kinston will join Daniel Salemlon in the Gatorade Series driving the #23. Not sure about Mancil plans | |
