NOVAR to have themed weekends? A hot topic coming out of the NOVAR garage during the 1st of 6 off-weekends, is that NOVAR might have themed weekends. "Our drivers wanted us to make this happen, It will be quite interesting on how everything turns out." - Ike Kendall Jr. NOVAR President. One of the themes that the drivers wanted was a "throwback" week, a race where past paint schemes done the livery of current cars, and a patriotic week. It is not known when the throwback week will be held, but It is reported that patriot week will be week 17, when the NVCS heads to the NY Autoring for the Fourth of July weekend.

Lawyers, and Hamlin to retire after 2015 season. Two former champions have announced that they will retire after the end of the season. "This decision was very tough to make, but after 24 hard years in competition, This will be our final chapter." Lawyers stated in a interview. "We didn't decide to make this decision now, We were actually thinking about this, after last season came to a close." Hamlin said. After the season, both will mentor their sons' foray into the major leagues as both drivers are currently competing in the Kelloggs Series' Southeast Division. It is not known who will take over both the 16 or the 28 cars for 2016.

Antoure involved in feuds with Lester, and Scott:
Controversy had arisen, and tempers started to flare after the conclusion of the Miller Lite 200. Jaya Antoure, who caused a crash with 3 laps remaining, forcing the race into overtime, has caused a feud with about 40% of Silver Green Racing, Daemin Scott had confronted Antoure after he was involved in the aforementioned accident, exchanged words, and walked away. "That bitch can not drive with a shit, (Casey) Lester was giving her room, and she decided to just to rub us, and just rammed into the 12." Scott quoted during the interviews. Lester's crew had actually brawled with the 01's crew after the wreck. Lester and Antoure nearly wrecked each other 8 laps prior to the crash on the front straight, and apparently Antoure had flipped the bird while driving by the 12.
